Is is correct?

Dear Experts,

Other day I heard an argument outside  the Family Court.

According to one, in Mutual Consent Divorce both Husband and Wife sign and jointly submit the petition

another said even in Contested Divorce also both Husband and Wife have to sign in the papers . Is it correct ?????

No in contested divorce, the party who files the petition need to sign the petition.

Only in mcd both husband and wife have to sign and submit petition jointly in the court. In contested divorce the party who files the divorce need to sign on the petition .
