Is it a financial fraud?

Hi, I and my wife used to have a joint account in "anyone operated" mode. While I was working and my wife was a housewife, I used to transfer all the monthly savings in the joint account. My wife converted the savings into FDs in her sole name and later on denied me access to the account. When I approached bank and got the account statement, I came to know that the account balance is nil. We are getting divorced but my wife claims that it is her money and I have no right to the money that I earned. Does it qualify as a case of cheating? Can the money be recovered/divided justfully? Thanks in advance.
