Is it possible to stop rcr exparte at evidence stage?

Dear members,

Below is the status of RCR case filed by wife:

P/P engage the respondent is called absent set exparte. Expartee evidence by 07.12.2016

Questions:

If I appear on that day and file vakkalath

1. will court accept/consider my appearance?

2. will court stop proceeding with exparte?
