In order to fund my son's higher studies, I tried to sell the land that I had purchased 7 years ago. I found a buyer ( Mr.A ), reached an initial agreement, and permitted him to start his work on the land. A week later, Mr.A informed me that he is backing off from the deal as someone threatened him not to purchase my land. After careful investigation, I found that another person ( Mr.B ) who is claiming the ownership of my land, with the support of fake registration papers and political support, had personally contacted and threatened the buyer to back off the deal.
As a result of the nuisance created by Mr.B, I lost the buyer.
In addition, my son lost a partial scholarship worth Rs.15 Lacs awarded by the university towards his tuition fee as he is unable to start his studies this academic year and chose to defer his studies to next academic year due to insufficient funding.
My question : If I file a lawsuit against Mr.B, could I demand for a compensation towards the loss of scholarship i.e., worth Rs.15 Lacs for my son's education?
