Whether the plot is not under acquisition by NHAI or any other authority ?
If not, it can be given on lease for 5 years or above but registration of Lease & Licence is compulsory u/s 17 of the Registration Act, 1908.
It is advisable to seek professional services of a local lawyer for drafting and registration of L & L agreement.
