legal heir partition deed

I , my mother and 3 sisters are the legal heirs of my late father. There is land property to be divided. My sisters and mother want to give their share to me. Is filing a partition suit in court a better option? Will we have to make a registered partition deed according to court's order after the order is passed ?

Dear Mr. Anil Pattnaik,

You need not  approach court for partition  of the property,  your mother and your three sisters can execute registered relinquishment deed of their shares in the property in favour you.

Upon executing the deed you will become absolute owner of the property.

You are not required to go to Court for partition. It would take tiem and money both. You can go for relinquishment deed or may settle the matter orally and then draft a Memorandum of Family Settlement.
