Dear Sir's,Maam's - I reside in Bengaluru, Karnataka. I had applied for a Family Tree and Legal Heirship Certificate through a consultany. I received the Family Tree which looks ok , but the Legal Heirship Certificate didnt look correct. The document displayed the survivors details( my father passed away, details about my mother, sister and me), stated that document to not be considered as a Legal Heirhip Certificate, & mentioned a validity for a year only. I was under the impression that this is a permanent document.I returned the document to the consultany to get it corrected.
My question to you is the Legal Heirship Certificate provided by the Taluk Office valid for a year only and does it need to be renewed every year? Since my Father passed away last year, I need the Legal Heirship Certificate to show to the bank from we had taken the Home loan , to get back the House documents and transfer the property to my mother's name.
Please advice,
thanking you in advance,
Rajesh Rajappan
