Legal opinion

Dear Sir,

My friend is  a govt Servant and working in a PSU. During his approved leave period a false case has been filed on him . His home town is 500 km far away from His Work station . As per his company policy ,there is no time bound for furnishing information about his investigation .

Should he inform to employer or wait for investigation ?

if he is on approved leave, let him inform his higher ups about it and also give a representation to the mediation centre or similar authority, for immediate action.

As per his company rule there is no clear cut guidelines for when he has  to inform about the incident or any mis conduct which amounts to criminal offence.

As per his company rule , no one can directly go to court  . He is on duty right now ?

Please suggest in this regards
