1. Using the existing Senior Citizen laws, you have an option of filing a Civil Court suit, citing your grievances and seeking appropriate maintenance /expenditures etc.... This would be granted, provided you do not have your own "sufficient" financial resources to support yourself & family.
2. Complaining about Son's job, given to him in lieu of your taking VRS, is not going to serve any purposes and taking any action on Son, is not within the jurisdiction of employer.

You can make a grievance petition stating the facts of such relationships and incidents chronologically to the District Collector on any grievance day making a complaint on such harassment by children. The Authorities are having powers to take action against the errant children and can even refer the case to LOKADALAT for free legal guidance towards a remedy.

Facts, as posted, are insufficient to offer any meaninful suggestion. Please post material facts:
- is the parent dependent on the children and lacks sufficient means to sustain himself/herself?
- admittedly, the parent had proceeded on VRS. Is he/she not in receipt of pension?
- Had the son/daughter furnished any undertaking while taking up the job because of the VRS of the parent?

You have the options to :
1. File a maintenance case under section 125 cr.p.c. seeking monthly maintenance on the same grounds.
2. You can approach senior citizens' welfare tribunal for reliefs against the son who has neglected to take care especially after getting the employment sacrificed by you for him through VRS.
Any complaint before the employer in this regard may not fetch you any relief because this do not come under that purview.
