legality of. charging compound interest monthly

Sir, Is it legal to charge interest on outstanding interest on personal loan on monthly basis. Please guide. Thanks

there must be condition that interest will be charged on outstanding interest then it is legal. other wise it it is not their in your terms then it is illegal.
