Liquidation of company- reg

If one of parent company is going to liquidation process ,what will happened it's subsidiaries units.Some body's informed that the subsidiaries also included the liquidation process,is it possible?
The parent company is the 100 percent share holder of subsidiary unit and all property documents (Tittle deeds)transferred to parent company.The subsidiary unit is also working in losses and some liability holders approached before NCLT,but not conducted hearing till now.

if the the parent company has 100% holding in the subidiary companies, then the subsidiary companies will automaticallly be taken over by the new management who will purchase the share of the parent company while bidding or if the auction fails, then would be sold off individually along with the parent company.
