Unless one of your coverts to other's religion the marriage in church / temple is not valid.
Cohabitation based on such marriage can lead boy in rape charges. In case it is proved that the padri/pandit willingly performed this marriage despite knowing that they are from different relgion he can be taken as abettor of crime alongwith all firends and relatives.
