Dear all,
I own a flat in Kozhikode during Oct 2018. Whilst I am abroad, I could not register it in my name until Feb 2021(until that it was in the name of builders). However,my mother was staying in the flat all these time. My question is whether I do need to pay the maintenance fee for the months before I did the registration?. Looking forward for your answer.
PS. A registered association is working in the society which was not informed during the purchase or later.

Hello,
You have taken possession of a flat and you are using society services so you have to pay the maintenance charges. Avoid dispute with society, settle amicably if you have any issues with society.
