I understand that there are fixed legislations approved by the Commisioner of Co-operation and Resgistrar, Co-operative societies in Maharastra clearly stating the appartment bills to be covered under sq/ft rate and the ones which are not. Since there is no such legislation in West Bengal, can the Maharastra's one be reffered to in case of settling disputes among flat owwners. I understand there is no judicial implication, but can i get a letter from a lawyer saying something like " Since there is no specific laws regarding the same, we can refer to th eMaharastra law, stating "...." , with no judicial implications. I need to show my appartment owners some paperwork to make them understand.
