Matter of evidence

Is it true that where matter of evidence required,court can not grant injunctions?
Plx can anybody provide any citation on it?

Dear Querist

Yes, its depend on the court if court think that the evidence is required before passing any order then the court can adjourn the proceedings and not grant stay.

thnx sir for responce but i just want to know is it celebrated principle of law or depends upon discreation of court.
