Mediation/counselling and next steps

Hi,
BG: spouse is asking 50L perm alim. + interim + monthly 25K + lit chrgs, on grounds of so called mental cruelty and one incident of so called physical(no bruise/injury.../nothing)

Kindly help with following aspects:

  1. How many sittings will mediation happen? - i know it is max 60 days.
  2. I think mediator will ask whats the thing...spouse will say cant continue for xyz reasons...
  3. What happens if i say i want to continue and spouse says no continuation - then obvly discussions will go into petition matters, so how it will be handled? - will mediation stop if one side wants to stop?
  4. What must be my stand - i dont mind continuing because i know my spouse is acting out of rage with multiple things in the head(including selfish needs)
  5. If mediation fails, can i request about 2 months to file my reply on petition? or is it immediate reply submit to court? - most importantly am looking for this aspect.

Thanks.

If you say yes for reconciliation and she is ready, you can stay on trial basis.   /If mediation fails, then you can contest the matteFor further advice send direct email to my ID
