I have paid stamp duty but by mistake in the challan instead of name of payer address of the property has got update and name of payer is not coming in the challan.
I have not registered the sales deed yet.
Please guide me what can be done in such cases?

Without the name of the person paying the stamp duty the challan cannot be generated.
If it is an online payment then you may have to make an affidavit about the person who made the payment, if it is an offline payment then you can get it rectified in the counter.

Challan cannot be accepted without name of purchaser of stamp paper.
Whether stamp paper has been issued ? If so, unused stamp paper (if you find something absolutely wrong) seek refund of value of unused stamp paper within 6 months of its issuance in terms of State Stamp Duty Rules
