Naga Christian Marriage

I have a friend who got married last November. She is a girl from Nagaland and married into her own tribe at home in the presence of a pastor and the Church issued them a Ceritifcate.

My friend has issues and wants to divorce. She is hoping to work a mutually consent divorce.

But she does not have an idea of the legal implications and the time involved.

Can anyone provide some information on the legal aspects of this Christian Marriage and how divorce prooceedings would work?

Is there any customary Naga law or body which would also be involved?

And what role does the Church play?
