Name change

I am confused whether to change my name in PAN or AADHAR? 1. Name(Patel Harshkumar Rajeshbhai) - LC, driving license, vehicle insurance, Mutual fund a/c, all LIC policies, Bank A/cs., AADHAR 2.Name(Patel Harsh Rajeshkumar) - home loan a/c, demate a/c, PAN, Passport. My AADHAR has linked with all demate, bank , LPG , pf , mutual fund A/cs. Kindly suggest me the right, easiest & single shot path to resolve all disputes.

Point is what is your correct name and whether you have a Birth Certificate to support the same.  In case you have Birth Certificate with a name, it is better, you get the name changed in Aadhar or PAN as the case may be, to match the name in Birth Certiicate.

In case, you had got your name registered with Aadhar based on certain other permitted documentary proof, you may get name in PAN Card changed.  Ultimately, what is the correct name counts and accordingly, in all identification documents, that name only should be reflected.
