HAI SIR MY NAME IS G.SIVA PRASAD .I HAD COMPLETED MY B.TECH. I AM FROM A.P . I AM PREPARING FOR SUB INSPECTOR OF POLICE EXAM. I WANT TO CHANGE MY NAME FROM SIVAPRASAD TO "JOHN CENA" ..BECOZ I WANT TO BE CALLED BY THAT NAME IN MY DUTY..SO PLZ TELL ME SIR HOW CAN I GET IT. PLEASE SIR ..HELP ME.

You need to issue a press notification followd by gazatte publication which sahll be necessary for Name change.You need not change name in your certificates.

You contact your Territorial Jurisdiction Revenue officer he will guide you how to change your name and if you are resident of A.P.

I think Mr. Gabriel is right and advised properly, however if a procedure is different in AP as Mr. Gangadhar suggested, please follow it up.
