Name with initial expansion

Hi All,

Again I have a question on initial of the name as my son was born before 2 weeks back and we have named as Sampreeth;however, I am bit confusion as my colleages advising to provide his name with initial expansion as Sampreeth Prasad including my name for birth certificate and other doccument so this will be help full in future for passport and other doccuments.

Please advise which would be correct as only initial or with initial expansion.
