Dear Experts,

    I am a serving defence personal married since Nov 2005. My wife is in Govt job since Jan 2008 and staying with her parents. I  have jointly brought a house and a plot in her area. As we are a child less couple and gone through unsuccessful IVF treatment in Army Hospital, after this my wife refused to go for further treatment for infirtility and start putting pressure on me for illegally adopting a kid from any hospital which i refused  and told her that we will go fore sarogate mother but nither she, nor her parents ready for sarogate. Now she lodge a complaint to Chief of Naval Staff and National Woman Commision for dowary demand and domestic violence. Here i want to tell you that now i am leaving service in 2014 and my pension and other retairments formality form required her signature, which she is refusing but she is my nominy in my service documents and her signature is required for family pension. Please advice me what should I do now?

@Querist,

If your wife is not ready to give her signature and doesn't want to receive benfits,then I don't think you should worry about these things.

You receive the pension if she is not ready.Your family includes,for the purpose of receiving pension,only you and your wife and not your children or any other person other than mentioned.

On the matter of complaint to NCW and other Woman-centric laws/organization, you needn't worry much but just to put the things in the correct way before the competant authority.

Now,Surrogacy may be a mental-thinking problem for your wife and she cannot be said to nurish ill thoughts rather I think she needs a counceling.

You both try to sit together and sort out which one of these two option suits better and think about all pros and cons.

After all,litigation in such relations is always bound to be a devastating element.

Note-This reply should be taken as per the declaration given in my profile page.

Thanks,

Regards,
