My wife got selected in one of the Government Organsation (an autonomous institution of Government of India). We are staying in pune from July 2012 to till date. Her hometown is Mumbai where she was staying from birth,.
The said office sent the letter for Police Verification on her local address (where she staying from July 2012). Police verification done on said address, but the office said we need her police verification from her home town also.
In view of the above if anybody know the rule provision of the Police Verification of the candidate before joining the Government service.
