Need immediate suggestion

Hi Everyone,

I need suggestion about Service bond breaking in MNC. Let me explain u in short what happend

1. Joined MNC in 02-09-2010 as a trainee. Signed a bond for 2 years work of 1 Lakh. Guarantor is my dad.

2. On 01-11-2011 left the company due to personal issues (absconded). After 3 months i.e., Jan2012 they sent a notice to join back in office. Later in another 10 days received a letter to meet HR to clear the formalities. Unfortunatley I received those letters very lately as I was not in that address.

3. Later, May 2012 I recived to pay 1L as i broken the bond.

Now my ocncern is i am ready to pay 50K instead of 1Lac as i need relieving letter and PF account. Do i need to reply the HR with my concern or do i need to contact  lawyer and send some written statement through him????

The training was for 40days and no other separate or special training was given to me. So do i need to pay 1L or instead send a legal notice to them stating i can pay only 50K. So far i did not recieved any legal notice from them.

Please advice me

If you have signed the bond then it is applicable on you. But there is some possibilities that you can try the negotiation with the HR. So, reply with the written statement and tell him about your personal problem for leaving the organisation.

Thanks for the quick reply sir, If they send any court summons in the meanwhile what if i dont accept them and send them back stating i am in that address.

If i donot accept court ummons will it be a problem..... do they go to my dad as he is the guarantor.
