Neighbor complaining about ac outdoor unit

I have recently installed a split AC unit for my bedroom. The location of the outdoor unit was above overhang in our balcony. Above the overhang is my neighbour's window. The AC is of the latest technology and creates very less noise. Although on their request I changed the position of the outdoor unit to the side wall of my balcony, a couple of foot away from their window. Yet again they are complaining about the noise and heat. Can they do anything legally about that ?

If your AC's outdoor unit is creating noise and emitting heat and the same is disturbing the neighbors, then it can be considered as civil nuisance.

If he is approaching court with suit for this then you may be held liable for the damages claimed by him, instead compromise with him and shift your AC's outdoor unit to some other safer place.

If the neighbor decides to approach police then the situation would become more awkward. and embarrassing.
