neighbour claiming the rights in compound

sir, our's is 30*40 site we have constructed ground floor a decade back now started to construct 1,2nd floor we are at verge of completing it

our site is west facing towards south & north we have constructed compounds since both sides neighbour sites were vacant at the time of construction but both compounds are in our site only we have khata, tax paid receipt everything legal documents

towards south our neighbour constructed his house but to his north ( for us it is south) he did not construct his compound which was supposed to, latter he put a grill on our compound only when we objected he said he will remove it when we required was the answer given by him it was almost 1decade over now we asked him to get it removed as we required but he is saying it is his property cannot be taken &claiming the rights this happened in Bangalore so how can we claim our ownership on this pls help us sir

Apply for authorities for surveying of the land, and if the grill in within your boundaries, it amounts to trespass and can be removed or a complaint can be made with police after issuing such notice to the trespasser for removal of his properties.
