No boundaries mentioned in a sale deed

Dear Advocates,

Theres is a sale deed made in 1976 concerned to an agricultural land.In that sale deed the survey numbers are 12/1 ( full extent is 2.0 Acres) , 12/2 ( full extent is 1.50 Acres), 12/3 ( full extent is 0.14 Acres) and the FULL EXTENT as mentioned above had been registered to a person say " X" but NO BOUNDARIES are mentioned but the name of the field had been mentioned.

The person " Y" had purchased the same said land from " X" in 2009 showing all the boundaries properly along with above survey numbers and respective extent shown above.

My question is will there be any problem for " Y" in future becasue of the sale deed made in 1976 having NO BOUNDARIES. Please let me know the status.

Regards

Suresh

Make correction deed to specify the boundry of your property. without the boundry of property you can't specify the property for its valuation and therre after its sell.

Proceed further thru a very able counsel specializing in revenue matters.

Boundary prevails over extent. Hence, make a rectification deed.
