Not getting confirmation

Dear Sir,

I have been working since last three years in limited company. at the time of my job interview i have present all my education related documents and i have been selected based on that. later at the time of joining by mistake i have attached 9 months experiance certificate and it was not real but i have placed only to hide my gap period between interview and actual joing date. Now company has found out that experiance certificates is fake and given me chargesheet. in reply i have accepted my mistake and confessed it. but my job was on the basis of interview and at that time i didnt mentioned any experiance. i said it was my mistake and please forgive me to company. please suggest me what to do in this case. chargesheet was departmental inquiry. & i have been in probation since two years ( one year  company has extended). please help me in this matter

Dear, Gviing false information before joining whether intentional or by an error can not be condoned. It is difficult to judge whether the confession is genuine or not. Under the circumstances, the company has the right to take action as per their policies and rules you must have been made aware while joining.

However, if you have made yourself indispensible by good and committed service to your employer no sensible organisation removes a person, unless it is in bad economic shape and wants to cut down costs. That means you not only have cheated your  employer - by design or accident, but also not worked hard enough for them to consider you sympathetically.

This my view with over 40 yrs of corporate experience.
