OBC quota

indeed it is a violation of right guarenteed to obc candidates by the constitution....u can assail the advertisement ..challenge it a get it struck down by filing a wp............

It is duty of the employer to iobserve the relevant law . Indeed they have to relax the age by 3 years for OBC (Non creamy layer) candidates.

The saddest part is- By the time the judgement is delivered by the court, nullified by the High Court and finally decided by the Supreme Court of NRI ( Sorry Upper Crust sorry India) men from upper castes will be recruited and retired on superannuation with full pensionary benefits. That's the Whole Problem.

Saddest part is that quota systems are acting like a poison for Indian society. Everyone wants to grab jobs even if they are not completely suitable for the job with help of quota system by discriminating against his fellow citizens. They are rather reinforcing and strengthening the caste division of Indian society. To permanently and completely destroy caste system, all quota systems based on caste should go so that all Indians can be treated trully in an equal manner.

if at all reservations have to be made,poor persons who are also able shud get jobs thru reservations,instead of people from a particular caste,who may not be able at all!

The reservation is a constitutional right for the people who were treated “UNTOUCHABLE” ander the tag of “SHOODRAs” due to caste discremination of Hinduism and their rights/property etc. were looted by the so called upper caste Hindus. This exploitation was so as long as the period of Hinduism. The cut of date of this exploitation if treated the 26 January 1950, the date of adoption of Democracy so as long as was the period of Hinsuism before this date, the reservation to all of them will be continued in forthcoming similar length period EVEN THOUGH IF THEY LEAVE THIS EXPLOITING SO CALLED RELIGION. If the Hinduism is here for 5000 years, the reservation (the process to restore the looted property) will continue for 5000 years and thereafter a review will be done to check as to whether it has been done honestly or more need for reservation is there. The generation of those exploited for 5000 years the next generation of these should get the compensation.

It is very simple and clearly understandable formula.

Nonsense. No property was ever looted. Nobody can loot any property from anyone who did not own a property in the first place. Even if I agree to this nonsense for the limited purpose of this discussion that some property was apparantly looted, then the limitation period of filing the case is over. The present holder of property has become owner by adverse possession. Moreover eye for any eye is not called justice, it is called revenge and terrorism. Principle of revenge and terrorism cannot be tolerated by democratic people of this country. Days are not far when your principle of revenge will be thrown out of India into Arabian see by democratic people of India.

Present people have to live as per present social conditions, not as per social conditions 5000 years ago. It is not only people of particular caste but everybody was exploited in one form or the other for 5000 years, according to whatever social rules were present during that time. the person favouring the caste based reservation system is not capable to compete with others with their knowledge,skill and effeciency.They don't have a back bone.Moreover now a days literate people doesnt belive in the caste system and the promoters of caste based reservation doesnt wants integrity in the country and because of this skillfull persons are migrating from the country to other countries.

You are right, they are only making personal attacks or divert attention by replying in another thread to raise it on the top so that the other thread goes down. Moreover they have apparently created multiple ids to create a false impression that most of the people are supporting them.

Well said. Just the same Parliament will say ever, since which party want to be in majority in Parliament that can not be possible without the bunch of the votes of minorities and SC/STs. So, the special provisions will be continued till when the loss of generations happened in past due to caste discrimination will not be recovered and social balance will not be maintained. So there is no limit even of 5000 years. It is not a simple question of a governmeent job but it is a question of rehabilitation of political power to those who were kept as untouchable.

And LCI is not the parliament so whatever going on here is just a discussion and nothing more.

Now we are not in Ramraj where a few so called upper class people will decide things as per their interest. Now it is Democracy and the India is a multi-religion country. Everything now has to be decided by the majority in elections and finally clear majority in Parliament.

We all know that the Congress is in power most of the time due to having the label of secular party and communal party never come with clear majority in parliament.

Question: Mr. Arup and Mr. Ravi are both equally in need of job. Mr. Arup and Mr. Ravi belong to identical economic condition families. Mr. Arup and Mr. Ravi have both gone to same school and college. Mr. Arup was serious with his studies with hope of getting job and worked really hard day and night, he gets better marks and qualification. Mr. Ravi was not serious with his studies because he knew his seat is "reserved" and did not work really hard, he gets poor marks and qualifications.

Now when both Mr. Arup and Mr. Ravi go for job, Mr. Ravi is selected ONLY because his seat is "reserved" for him. Why it is reserved?  Because of  ONLY reason that he is born in one particular caste.

What is the crime of Mr. Arup? Nothing.

Why Mr. Arup should suffer for hard work and responsibility and give up his rights? No answer based on true principles of justice and equality.

Principles of natural justice demand if Mr. Ravi wants to take away the right of Mr. Arup, then in order to loose his right Mr. Arup must have taken away equivalent right of Mr. Ravi. Please tell me what right Mr. Arup has taken away from Mr. Ravi?
