Such online sale of goods are governed under terms of contract agreed and signed by you electronically at the time of placing the order. It provides Return and Exchange policy, other policies excluding a set of other terms and conditions as specified by the company at the time of sale. They also reserve the power to change the term without notice. So read these policies and T&Cs now, if you have a case thereafter, file a case against the company before District Consumer Forum. Before filing of case, you would be required to issue a legal notice giving reasonable time for refund. You can send this notice, no advocate would be required, but correct drafting would be necessary. These companies have in house lawyers. Any improper drafting of notice/complaint case, may not be helpful. Please remember, it is possible that they might have changed any such condition which was prevalent at the time of purchase order and not available in their website now.
