Owner vs tanent

hello there once again!

can the owner of the property ask the tanent (without any written notice) to vacate the property in 10 days? the rent agreement says "by giving one month notice", but so far no notice has been given it is only verbal (telephonic) talk to vacate property in 10 days.

any thing that tanent can do to get reasonable time so that he may look around another accomodation?

to my information, the property has been sold to third party, the new owner wish to have vacant place, till the place is not vacant the seller of property will not get money, that is why the tanent has been asked to vacant place in 10 days. kindly suggest.

When the tenancy agreement specifically provides for one month notice in advance the tenant cannot be thrown out as such.  Ask him for reasonable time to vacate the premises but if the owner is adamant then, file in the civil court for injuction against forcible eviction.

It is all written on the agreement but if the cause is much more important that the owner does not get such buyer in future and he is requesting you to vacate the premises in 10 days means you can demand as per agreement that you need time to search for new premiises and will not take further time

if not you can file case against the owenr for forcible eviction there you will get some time and owner will suffer
