Passport mothers name correction

The procedure of correction of names differ from situation to situation. It is different when it is printed wrongly in educational certificates (for which you need to consult the Board or the University authorities whichever is applicable with proper documentary evidence). However, as it has occurred now in the Passport division, you need to consult the concerned Passport authorities with proper documentary evidence (any govt-authorized document where your mother's name is printed correctly).
