Finding place to park one's car is the biggest problem all over the world. Everyone will advise others "do not use personal car, avail public transport."
A person used to park his car on the street in front of his residence. As a public conscious citizen he mostly used public transport. Once when he thus returned home, his car was missing. He made inquiries in the neighbourhood but of no avail. He went to the police station, filed a theft report and came home. Next morning after a cup of tea he looked out of the balcony. He saw a vehicle, which looked like his own. He went down. It was his vehicle only. He drove straight to the police station and told the inspector that he wanted to withdraw the complaint. The inspector asked "Where is the car?". "I have brought it here sir" replied the owner. "OK leave the car there and go home" said the officer. The officer asked him to come to the court on the next day with all ownership documents. The owner went to the court accordingly. The clerk there told him that there were so many cases and his case was not likely to come up on the same day. The owner somehow prevailed upon the clerk and paid him Rs.500/-. The clerk took the papers into the magistrate's chamber and came out with his signature. He made a pass and gave it to the car-owner. He asked him to go to the police station and fetch his own car.
