If those have been bought in the name of particular identity. It is better to return them to govt Treasury as e- stamp is launched. But it should be within 6 month from the date of purchase. Stamps, bearing too old date may be used life time unless declared void by govt.

In whose name the stamps were bought, that person may use the stamps if that stamps are kept blank.  It any deed is written on the stamps then it should be returned within 6 months from the date of execution of the deed.  But it is better to return them as advised by Mr. Chauhan sir.  now e-stamp is being introduced in many of the states.
