Powers of ncdrc

If it is established that a respondent/appellant in a case under adjudication by NCDRC has made false submissions under oath and/or has submitted tampered documents with an affidavit, can NCDRC take penal action against the respondent/appellant for committing perjury & forgery.

Thanking the experts in advance.

In my opinion NCdrc cannot.  You will have to file private complaint before the juidicial magistrate

IF NCDRC find itself these documents false and forged. It can file complaint before court.

You can't complaint because only the authority before whom these papers were submitted, may file complaint according to Cr.P.C.
