precautions before launching review site

Dear All

I am planning to launch a review site. I would like to know what legal precaution needs to be taken since it involves some activities like:

1. there might be some individuals who post bad reviews against a big branded company.

2. My review website would have several other links of other News Agancies website (mentioning press releases for a particular industry or region)

Please, also let me know if there is something that need to be taken an extra care of.

My sincere thanks...

Hi,

Yes, you can protect yourself by making Website User Agreement and Privacy Policy. In the user agreement, you can make clear that the website user is individually responsible for the review which they post in your website. The website is not responsible for any of the user’s reviews.
