To become a franchisee of a foreign company - which manufactures goods like toiletries, stationary goods, gardening tools and more
what are the :
1) legal formalities/procedure to start such a business
2) legal restrictions in Indian retail industry
3) customs/import duty on items like this
I understand that a lawyer specializing in commercial law can help. But still even before I talk to him , I would like to educate myself on this.
Any suggestions/advice/pointers would be of much help.
