Dear Sir/Mam
My grand father passed away in June 2012 and he has a house where we live with my grand mother and other ucles and aunts. In the previous post. I came to know that the property has to be divided between all the sons and daughters and grand mother.
This is a 2 storey house. If after partition, we get an entire storey, can we sell the property. Suppose the property is divided in 9 shares, how many people should agree to sell fo the property.? Pls tell other integreties too. Can you pls suggest some NGO or women cell which can look after the rights of my grand mother cos her 3 of the sons are harassing her cos they have got good contacts. We are based in Varanasi thou I am based in Delhi.
Any help and advise would be highly appreciated.
