Property for grand children

Dear Sir/ Madam

 

I want to know whether the property of my grand mother who died in 2003 , in her name house is there and my father is only son of her we are 3 sisters ( her grand children) as my father is addicted to drinks and also he is in plan of selling the house in this circumstances do we can claim that property as a part of our share my 2 sisters got married and am unmarried is their any law to get share in my grnad mother property please advice me my email Id : viniereddy@gmail.com

As per the provisions of the HSA your father is the only legal heir of your grandmother and you cannot claim any share in that property during his lifetime. So if he chooses to sell it, you cannot get any share out of the consideration amount as a matter of right.
