Property grabbed by tenant(bank)

Hi,

I am from uttarpradesh. around 30-40years ago, My father in law had given the ground floor of our house to Cooperative bank(Zila sahkari bank) on rent.
Around 9-10years ago bank moved to new premises in the same city but bank did not vacate our land saying that they need space to keep hard copy of records till the time they are constructing a room in their new premises for it.
it has been almost 10years and bank has not yet vacated our land, our property is very old and in bad condition building may fall any time. it is a risk for our life as we are staying there, we have informed bank several times to vacate it so that we can renovate it.
We have talked to bank's officials as well as Chairman of that bank but we are not getting any response from them.

please let me know whom should i contact for this and get it done.

Thanks,

Madhu

The successor of the then building owner has to initiate legal proceedings to evict them on the ground that the old building has to be  re-constructed after demolition and additional ground that the same is required for your own use.

The successor  can also send legal notice to the Head Office of the said bank  to vacate the building and surrender to you for the above said reasons.

Bring the matter to the higher authorities of the said bank in writing. Better send a legal notice to the bakers.
