We were allotted a DDA flat in 1984 in S. Delhi. In 1988 the flat developed cracks and DDA shifted us to another flat in same locality on temporary basis. Later on the same transit flat was allotted to us by DDA coz the original flat was beyond repairs.
We settled all our dues with DDA and MCD for House TAx for original flat and surrendered the same to DDA.
We started paying the House Tax for this new allotment to MCD.Now since past few years MCD is sending Show Cause notice to this new premises mentioning the owner to be somebody else and asking to pay the dues in lakhs of rupees.
We have written to MCD that change the records for the ownership (name) and also that we have paid tax up to date , so to quash the demand for pending tax liability.
But nothing is being done.
