Hello Fellow Lawyers.

In a complaint if a police is filing a closure report can a protest petition be made in the interest of public by a third party? Thanx

No. Third person has got no locus-standi to raise question over closure of the case if he not directly connected thereto. Comlainant has only got right to file Protest Petition in such case.

Complainant or his/her legal  heirs.  Am I correct?

DEAR ROOKIE,

ONLY COMPLAINANT AND HIS/HER ABSENCE THEN LEGAL HEIRS WITH PERMISSION OF THE COURT CAN FILE PROTEST PETITION.
