Local laws apply to the subject.

Generally land reserved for a specific community can not be transferred (by sale/ gift etc.) to other category/ caste /religion.

It is better to consult a local prudent lawyer for proper appreciation of facts and professional advise.

Lands in question was originally assigned to persons belonging to Scheduled Caste and classified as Adi Dravidar condition landsLands were assigned by an order No.53/35, dated 16/1/1926.

These lands were in possession of the legal heirs original assignees. No other caste can purchase.

There is a restriction for sale purchase of the land hold by Adi Dravidar belonging to
SC community. If the order dt 16/1/1926, after that, a long span of time  elapsed and there may be some rules relaxed by the Govt to promote the industrialization.  Pl go through the local land laws.
