Query

Dear,

The company have selected one candidate for AGM post on contract basis. Is that mandatory to draft the contract in a stamp paper or is it ok if we draft in company's letter head?

Please advice.

The letter of appointment does not need to be on a stamp paper. You can execute it on the letter head of the company and mention that his employment is on contract basis for the period of 'x' months or 'x' years, as the case may be.
