Query about supreme court decision

"if any criminal case has been pending for 3 years and no activity has been done in this, it will be discharged automatically"  this judgement has been overruled.

what is new one?

comman clause case has been overruled in which the court held the above point by Hon'ble  Supreme Court.

@ deepak mishra I think you have not been able to put your query correctly.

Are you referring to SC judgement in japani sahoo case

where it was ruled that relevant date for computation of period of limitation under crpc468 is date of filing of complaint and not date of cognizance by magistrate?

Majumdar S.B.

now please tell me, is it applicable onto dowry case?

 @ Deepak mishra thanks for making me go through some interesting judgements.

The judgement mentioned by you has been over ruled by a 5 judge bench of SC  in  following case,for all criminal cases including cases related to dowry
