Unless court grants stay on proceeding technically police not required to stop anything. Did you make an application for interim relief ie stay on proceedings till disposal of the application. Don't expect automatic relief.

Who has told U that the proceedings will stop automatically, wrong notion, better check with UR lawyer for updates.

Usually the court is slow and reluctant to interfere with quashing the FIR, unless a strong and compelling grounds are made out to quash the same.

Since you have anticipatory bail, police can't arrest you.

You should not file any stay order on police inquery, rather you should co-operate with them to make proper investigation and file final charge-sheet at the earliest. You should file for speedy trial prayer. You can contact personally with the IO and narrate/submit the actual story with the copy of circumstantial evidences.

Filing quashing at this stage is absolutely foolish approach Mr. Das! You are again misleading by your lawyer. Please try to understand that if you file stay order then the case will drag to your funeral !!!!!
