Receipt of house rent for nri

I was the GPA holder for my NRI son for buying a house in 2001. The house is registered in his name. We want to put the house on rent now. The GPA was made in 2001.Can I receive the rent on behalf of my son and remit the same to his NRI Account opened in India. Is it necessary to make a fresh GPA for this purpose. Thank you in advance for your advice.

No GPA  is required. Tell the tenants to depsosit the rental amounts in your son's bank account in India straight away through online system of banking facilities.

Thank you Mr Rachakonda Sir for your prompt advice. So nice of you. Can I ask the tenant to deposit the rent into my account and later myself do online transfer the same to my son's NRI account.? Keenly looking forward to your advice.T
