I am paying half of maintainence (interim) every month and have paid small part of arrears. The judge told my wife that if she wants she can file for recover of arrears. Now considering that I'm making partial payments, can arrest/distress warrant be filed against me ?

I had heard that warrant is usually done in case where the husband is not paying at all
