Refusal to execute anticipatory bail

I have been booked falsely under section 498a for dowry harassment. I have obtained anticipatory bail for the same. An FIR has already been lodged for the same. But no one has come for arrest. Should I go and
execute the anticipatory bail in the police station is my question.

I had gone to the police station but the inspector says that passport has to be surrendered to him. I told him that it is not mentioned in the bail order so I will not submit. So he is refusing to execute the bail order.  I did read in the internet in several judgements that passport need not be submitted unless otherwise directed by the order.

Can I challenge the inspector showing the supreme court judgements or not is the question in front of me.

Can experts throw light on this.
