Regarding IA on CRIMINAL APPEAL

What is the relief sought in the IA from the High Court in the Appeal? If the relief is extremely important that if not allowed will cause innumerable losses to you, the same can be sought by moving the larger bench of the same High court or moving Special Leave Petition to the Supreme Court.

Thanks for the reply Sir, The IA s regarding Stay of the Sentence under Corruption Act. Have filed the application on 17th n Its getting adjourned. Nxt date is on 18th. I don know the reason for adjournment. Trial Court erroneously convicted me by not taking any consideration of Cross Examination by my Advocate. The Demand is not proved and there is lot of inconsistency in the Statements of Complainant and Shadow witnesses. Both the Complainant n Shadow witnesses have stated that there was no Demand. Tainted notes were exchanged by the Complainant to me by the way of Change of Rs 1000/- giving me 2 Rs 500/- notes. Both the 3 witness were treated hostile. Law says benefit of the Doubt shud go to accused but in my case, though there were many Doubts. Nothing was considered.
